Rodd (Rodrigo) Sanchez was born in Santiago, Chile before immigrating to Australia. Early schooling education was at Patrician Brothers Fairfield, till 1991. Rodd's first vocational studies were in the study of nursing at University Western Sydney- Macarthur to fulfil his need to help people with their health issues. Rodd worked for 11 years in the nursing industry caring for the elderly, paediatric, disabilities, drug rehab and psychiatric patients.

Rodd attended the Sydney Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine (S.I.T.C.M); for an intensive 4 year programme and during his studies he was awarded the Annual Prize for most outstanding performance in Traditional Chinese Medicine studies, which was presented by Australian Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA). During his study, he undertook extensive clinical training and mentoring- ship with/ through Prof. Hoc Ku Huynh OAM, here in Australia where clinical and interpersonal relationships were developed and nurtured. Extended his studies and clinical skills with internship training at the Anhui 2 nd Affiliated Hospital & College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China , where valuables skills where developed.

At present he is a lecturer at the Sydney Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine and University of Western Sydney in both Western Medical Health Sciences and Traditional Chinese Medicine fields. Rodd presents seminars in the art and skills of traditional Chinese Medicine Dietary therapy and other modalities of TCM. He furthered his education with a Masters of Traditional Chinese Medicine programme through the University of Western Sydney .

In private clinic, Rodd runs an acupuncture and herbal medicine general practice, with an interest in digestive conditions, muscular skeletal conditions, male and female infertility and facial rejuvenation techniques.

Rodd is heavily involved and work towards the promotion and development of the benefits and merits of Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine within Australia , through different organisations.

David S. White

David is a graduate from the 4 year full time undergraduate course at the Sydney Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine (SITCM) where he received the annual prize for most outstanding performance in the degree. Following this he studied and lived in Hefei City in Anhui province in the Peoples Republic of China. David then obtained his Masters degree from RMIT University in Melbourne, focusing on acupuncture neurophysiology. His major dissertation was on Auricular Acupuncture and the treatment of substance abuse. Currently David is a PhD candidate at the University of Technology, Sydney in the Chinese Medicine Unit.

David has studied under some of China’s and Australia’s most renowned physicians. In Australia he has completed official internships under John Dolic (Chinese medicine and martial arts 14 years - ongoing), Daniel Deng (2 years), Prof. Hoc Ku Huynh (5 years) and Dr. David Tai (4 years - ongoing). In China he studied under Dr. Ou (Orthopaedics), Dr. Cai (Specialist Acupuncture) and Chief Physician Ma Jun (Internal Medicine).Through these internships David has developed his own style of integrative treatment methods.

Although David runs a general practice in Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine he has also undertaken specialist training in specific areas, including: Neuro-anatomical acupuncture in the treatment of Spinal Cord Injuries (S.C.I.) and associated conditions, Auricular Acupuncture, and Classical Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine.

David is also a senior lecturer and clinical supervisor at the Sydney Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine (SITCM) and a casual lecturer at the University of Western Sydney, School of Health Sciences. In 2006 he was appointed president of the Paraplegia & Hemiplegia Acupuncture Society (P.H.A.S.) and is currently a consultant acupuncturist at the Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH) Spinal Injury Unit and Royal Rehabilitation Centre Sydney Spinal Injury Unit.
